Treasure Hunter's Code of Ethics

Never trespass and always obtain permission prior to entering private property or mineral claims.

Fill all holes regardless how remote the location and never dig in a way that will cause damage to property.

Never destroy priceless, historical, or archaeological treasures.

Do not build fires, camp, or park in non-designated or restricted areas.

Leave all gates and other accesses to land as you found them.

Never litter, always pack out what you take in and remove all trash dug in your search.

Do not damage, deface, destroy, or vandalize property (especially ghost towns and/or deserted structures).

Respect and uphold all finders, search & salvage agreements.

Abide by all national, state, county, and local laws.

And remember, All Metal Detectorists and Treasure Hunters are judged by the example you set. Conduct yourself with courtesy and consideration for others.
